What was I thinking?

Following along with Polly's double-batch of brownies...

Is it too late to switch from the time-intensive homemade potato salad to something simpler like...Oh, I don't know...Baby carrots? Because this child study is taking its sweet time writing itself.

Oh well, potato salad making will be my latest procrastination tool. That and Aubree's aMAZing "Spare me my life" video which can be found here.

I wish I was there

That beautiful picture is a tease! I still have two more courses coming my way this summer(blah)and no vacation has been planned.
It's going to be different having classes w/ different people. AHH I might actually have to meet someone new! Being part of a cohort was an interesting experience, I will miss you guys...well most of you!! haha j/k (am I to old to use that?)

Yasemin, this picture reminds me of the Baja coast in Mexico. It makes me think, "The end is near..." (read with dread), and yet it seems too far to walk in just one very hot day when I am so tired. I'd rather just sit down and stare, slack-jawed, at the beautiful ocean and breathe in the salt air. Too bad I have a child study to finish, and a double batch of brownies to bake.
